Pet care experience
I work from home and am available to take on occasional overnight stays of up to one dog at a time in our home. Our dog, Olive would love a playmate/hiking buddy, but we can also make it work if your pup isn’t into any of that! I truly enjoy caring for animals and will make sure your pet is well attended to and comfortable while in our home. I’ve looked after many different animals over the years including dogs, cats, birds, and small animals. I will provide photos and updates as needed so you can rest easy knowing what your pet is up to.

Our dog Echo was very well cared for by Heather and her partner. She was great with communication and sent lots of photos. Echo can sometimes have some anxious behaviours, and she was able to put him at ease, but also gave us confidence that if anything came up she knew what cues to look for and how to handle it. Her own dog is also very well trained and got along with Echo super well. Would definitely book with Heather again.
I cant recommend Heather enough! She is kind, diligent, and reliable. It means so much that I can trust her to care for my dog while I’m away. My dog loves visiting her and her sweet dog Olive. 10/10!!
Heather is an incredible dog mom to Olive and is amazing with dogs in general. She has a great understanding of dog behaviour and has a great eye for picking up on social cues of different dogs (her dog, friend dogs and stranger dogs). Our pup completely adores heather, and we know if she spends anytime with Heather and her family, she is in good hands!
