A word of caution for pet parents booking Heather as a house sitter. We had such a great experience the first time we booked Heather and had full trust she would deliver the second time around. The difference this time is we had cameras installed and a time stamp on our locks. We were 5 hours away and could see she arrived on time around 1pm to house sit but then left within 5 minutes. We were shocked to see at 11:45pm that she had not returned and the dogs had been left without food or potty breaks after 10 hours. We sent texts and asked our friends to help us get in touch with her locally or go over when they could. She thankfully came to the house at 6:40 am the next morning to give our dogs some care after 18 hours of no food or breaks. What kind of dog lover does this? Not surprisingly we cut our trip short and came home. She did come back for an afternoon break. There was poop all over our kitchen and on our dining room rug and the dogs were alive but noticeably stressed. So disappointed in her and our River experience.
