Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner since childhood with animals ranging from dogs and cats, to turtles and rodents and a full horse boarding stable. I have 3 dogs of my own (1 golden and 2 small dogs) plus 2 cats. I have 3 kids and work permanently at home so I am here to supervise and hang out in the day. I am experienced in animal first aid and I can accommodate specific diets or pet needs. I work full time from my home with a job that allows flexibility to accommodate pet needs and play. My pets are fed 2x a day but I can easily accommodate a different schedule. I have 2 dog beds and pets are allowed on the couch and chair. Large water bowl is filled with fresh water daily. Dogs have access to a toy bin of dog toys for play. I have a fenced yard, gated main floor in my home and 3 friendly dogs for companionship. I can easily accommodate daytime walks or backyard play time. My work space keeps me in earshot of the dogs and I can check on them anytime

Pets are welcomed into the backyard and main floor areas of my home. I use babygates to manage access to other areas of the home to ensure I can monitor them at all times. I also have a puppy pen I can use to create individual spaces for slower introduction, providing breaks between animals and to create safe zones if a dog is protective of their crate or feeding space.

I need to know your dog's experience with small dogs, cats and children. My kids treat pets with respect but this is their home. I also have a daycare in the lower level of my home, run by my mom, so your dog needs to be comfortable with noises and busy homes to be successful. Any history of anxiety or fear, special things they love for comfort and the best ways to make them feel comfortable are all important details to share. Feel free to bring their favorite toy or blanket for quiet time too.
A typical day
I have a large backyard with a pool just for the pups. In warm weather we use water play regularly. I also have a collection of balls to throw and squeaky toys. I have a park a few minute walk from my home, as well as a dog park a short drive away. No dogs will go to a dog park without owner consent. Indoors we have dog beds for quiet time and toys for play. Toys range from squeakers to tug toys and balls.

Availability
I work full time in my home so I am available for special routine needs. I wake between 6 and 7am and my pets are fed breakfast at 730am. Pets go outside when I wake and after eating. I have cameras at the side of the house for extra monitoring. My pets are fed dinner at 5pm and go out for a final backyard break around 1030pm. We do one daytime walk and try to go out again in the evening, weather and animals permitting. I have bells at the back door for those who know to indicate this way.
