Hello! My name is Heather and I have a strong love and passion for dogs and caring for them. I have had dogs all my life growing up, and currently have one of my own. He is a Corgi/Staffie mix and is a great companion to other dogs. I currently work as an Assistant Manager of a large boarding kennel and have been there for almost 10 years. On any given weekend we could be caring for 100+ dogs and 20+ cats. Recently I traveled with work to attend the Pet Boarding/Daycare Expo in Las Vegas. There were many presentations on the aspects of pet care and I received a certificate for infectious disease control. I also have a certificate in veterinary assisting from ABC College. I've had my fair share of interesting experiences with dogs to say the least! I have a ton of respect for all animals, and genuinely enjoying caring for them. Simba is always happy when we go to Heather’s house for playtime! She is very punctual about sending updates as welland we love the way she takes care of Simba and gives him treats!
Heather did a great job taking care of our corgi overnight. Loved getting pic updates of him. He was a happy and tired boy when we got home 💕 We will definitely book with Heather again.
Our dog Charlotte had the absolute best time at Heather’s over the holidays. Heather did an amazing job keeping us updated with photos and videos and we can’t wait to have her as our dog sitter again in the future!

I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I just have one small dog, Lego, who is wonderful with other dogs. I have a 2 year old who has been around multiple different dogs and is as respectful as a toddler can be towards pets, but he is never left alone with them.

A typical day
I love to be outside, especially taking advantage of when Oregon gives us nice weather. I live near the Hillsboro Fairgrounds, which is a great place for walks! My backyard is a great area for fetch and getting those zoomies out!

I work part-time at the kennel, but have Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday off. I will be home mornings and evenings on days that I do work. However, my partner is always home when I’m not.
