I've been a dog owner for the better of 12 years. My first rescue doggie was a rat terrier and my current rescue is a jack-a-bee (Jack Russell & Beagle). I like rescues because you get to see their progress and help them to adjust to a brand new life. Dogs love to cuddle, and I agree with them! Dogs each have their own personalities and I love having conversations with them, think dog whisperer and they respond in smiles and licks. I work part time as a volunteer EMT and am at the local community college finishing my associates degree in biology, with a long term goal of enrolling into a physicians assistant program to practice medicine. Needless to say, I think this is a good way to supplement my income and help me achieve my future goals.
