Pet care experience
My husband and I have lived in Park Ridge for 6 years and are dog lovers looking to make a little extra money by snuggling and caring for other people's pooches. We don't have any pets of our own currently but we have both had dogs and cats in the past. We have two sweet little girls so dogs need to be child-friendly. We are very detail-oriented and are happy to entertain any special requests. My husband works from home so we have daytime availability and flexible schedules for pick-up and drop-off. Our yard is large enough for dogs to run around and get some exercise and we live next to a large park with lots of green space. We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with ample sidewalks for long walks when the weather permits. We look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon!

Sandy seemed to be very happy to stay with Heather, Mark, and the girls. She’s very old and fragile and came back to us in perfect condition. I’d recommend using Heather and Mark to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. Hopefully they’ll watch Sandy for us again.
My Lilly had a great time with Heather, Mark & their girls Sent me cute pictures of my Lilly. They even took her trick or treating. It make me feel at ease the moment I met them. The girls gave Lilly lots of love!! Hugs & kisses too
What a lovely family! Rascal was very well cared for by Heather and Mark who graciously gave him a home over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Truth be told, Rascal is now moping around the house - we're convinced that he misses them and all the fun he had! Thanks, Heather and Mark!

We like to know feeding schedules and quantities, potty break timing, and how they interact with children and other dogs. We don't have any dogs, but it's good to know if they are anxious or aggressive around others.
A typical day
We typically take our dogs out first thing in the morning, again at lunchtime, and before bedtime. Depending on the dog, we often have another walk just before dinnertime. If your dog is the type who likes to fetch, we'll head over to the park across the street for some additional active time.

We only take dogs when we are going to be home a lot, such as during holiday breaks from work and school. This ensures we have plenty to time to devote to caring for your pet as he/she requires.
