Pet care experience
Hi. I have been working with and training dogs for over 30 years. I am a Positive Reinforcement Trainer. I love all breeds and ages of dogs and belive that all interactions with dogs are training moments. I am a currently going to school to be a Service Dog trainer. Cats, and other small animals are not out of my comfort zone.

I have a 6 month old goldendoodle, Orion. He was a skittish little thing that needed training and interaction, and lot of patience. Heather worked so well with him, she took her time to gain his trust, it was wonderful to watch him blossom with her! She can pet him now and he even gave her kisses! She used German commands as well as English because we are teaching him both as well as hand signals. When he had his first groom and was very scared, she came to his rescue. We are looking forward to more training with Heather as Orion grows!!! I know with her training I will have a well mannered dog, who will behave with others.
I’ve known Heather for a couple years now. I went away on a four day vacation to Maine with my family during the summer and she was kind enough to watch my crested geckos. I got updates and pictures of my geckos while I was away. She cared for them as if they were her own pets. She takes animal care seriously and is willing to work with others in regards of proper care. She has experience with various animals and is someone I would go to if I needed my animals to be cared for in my absence.
Heather is great! She is very approachable with concerns and always has a trick up her sleeve to better work with dogs. She is very well versed in dog language and always has their safety and well-being at the forefront.

Please let me know of any special needs your animals may have. I do not allow rawhide, shock collars, or choke chains. In my home all animals are treated like family. (No people food for the fur babies)
A typical day
I love to keep dogs mentally stimulated. If your pup likes to be around water, I can do that. A long walk, a gentle stroll, or a lazy movie night no problem. I love to train dogs. If your dog is a puller, teaching loose leash walking is a specialty of mine.

Availability
I am a full time dog trainer. I love being outside year-round. Hikes on the trail, a paddle around the lake, or a stroll around town with your pup is my ideal day off. I can feed and play with your pets while you are away.
