Hi! My name is Heather. I used to work for a vet and really miss being around animals everyday. On top of being a former Veterinary Assistant with coursework in Veterinary Technology, as well as having experience training exotic animals for the Sedgwick County Zoo, I also have a vast amount of experience pet and house sitting and can even handle minor medical procedures such as injections (for diabetes) and administering medications. If you'd like some minor grooming done, we can discuss that as well for an additional minor fee. It is my belief that while you are away, your dog should receive the same amount of love and care that you would normally provide for them in your home. I work from home so can take your pup on walks/potty breaks throughout the day. I would be happy to FaceTime with you and send frequent updates as well as photos so you can always be sure your pup is happy and having just as much fun as you are while you are away. I don't mind letting dogs on the furniture but also understand the importance of maintaining training and discipline as well so as long as you let me know what your preferences are, I can be sure to maintain them.
