A little about me, I grew up in a rural area with not a lot to do. I ran with a “pack” of my own. I had the responsibility to take care of my 5 dogs at home. I took them on walks, played, bathed, & fed them. They were my best friends. As an adult I’m not able to have a dog of my own, but have a lot of love & energy to spare! I am an active individual who is great with all animals & respect all people, places, & pets. ❤️ I have been doing house sitting & animal care privately for the last 8 years in the Eureka/Fortuna/Mckinleyville & other surrounding areas. I joined Rover to expand my client base. I hope to meet you & your furry loved one soon! Heather came everyday for a week and walked/played with our dogs while we were on vacation. She sent pictures everyday of the adventures they would go on and the fun they would have. She is on our speed dial for the next time we need her services.

Our puppies (and moody cat) absolutely love Heather! She is everything that you could ever want in a sitter caring for your fur family! She is extremely reliable, friendly, and flexible! We wanted to extend our trip by a few days and she was very accommodating. She is very communicative and sends us pictures and videos of our puppies and cat multiple times a day. We have had Heather do drop-in for us and also stay at our home with our puppies. Whenever people are looking for a pet sitter, Heather is my first recommendation!
Heather is a great pet sitter and I trust her staying in my house while I am gone. I am usually very weary of having people stay at my house, let alone being the person solely responsible for my pet's well being. Heather is very communicative and send lots of pictures of your pets. During the big earthquake we had here, she wasn't staying at the home, but just doing drop-ins, but she went over to my home at 3 am to check on the pups and assess any damage to my home. I will continue to use Heather because she is a trustworthy, compassionate, and caring person.

When staying or checking in on pets they can expect my full attention & love. They can also expect to be walked, either around their neighborhood, local trail, or sometimes the beach. I really like to do things that they are used to doing & can add or accommodate anything my clients & their animals need.

I currently work a day job 12p-5p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Wednesdays & Sundays off. If your furry loved one can be alone for 6+ hours a day I think we would be a great fit! I am able to provide love & plenty of exercise!
