Pet care experience
Hello my name is Heather. I love doggos and have been a pet owner all my life. During highschool I worked at our local grooming shop as the bather/kennel attendant for 3 years. I am available for daytime or evening walks near Old Southwest Roanoke, day-sitting and overnight care or anything else your furbaby needs. I love big dogs and tend to bond with most dogs pretty quickly. My rescue pibbull, Beau, just passed about a month ago so having some new furry friends around will help with that void. My availability is wide open so please give me a call. I am available everyday for walks and most days (except Wednesday and Thursday during the summer) for daycare or boarding. Schedule will change once school is back in session. I live in a spacious apartment in Old Southwest near Highland Dog Park. I adore dogs and will spoil any good boy or girl rotten with cuddles and pets while they are in my care.

I have known Heather for the better part of 15 years. She’s a very caring and responsible person. She has been a pet sitter for my dog in the past. She also helped me out tremendously with babysitting my own children. She is so very compassionate about the proper care of any person or animal that she meets. I’ve never seen a time that an animal or child did not naturally take to Heather. That is not a skill that can be learned. I feel like animals know they can trust her and that she is a loving person. She is always willing to go the extra mile and she strives for excellence with every job.
