Pet care experience
I love dogs (especially the big ones and bully breeds) and I love having one by my side. I am also a volunteer and foster mom for the Northwest Boxer Rescue. I have studied doggie behavior and really enjoy what each pup has to offer as an individual. Currently, I have adopted a Boxer of my own named Zoey who loves other dogs! She can walk with us, or I can leave her at home. During this crazy time of everything being shut down, I am trying to make some extra money and doing what I love most - being around pups! Plus, I want to help you attempt to work from home by taking your favorite distraction out of your hair 😁 If you have a backyard, I am even willing to bring my dog over so they can run around and play. That kinda of exercise really wears them out! I am flexible, so shoot me a message if you think there is some way I can help you out!

Heather was amazing. She took our Gabe out for runs and ball throws everyday and as an active dog we we're so happy to have him with Heather for a few nights rather than Gabe being stuck in a kennel and small space. He came back a super happy dog. We feed him raw food too and Heather was happy to feed him his normal diet which was also amazing. She was super flexible and a great auntie for the week. Thanks again Heather!

I would have a lot of questions because I would like to know each dog individually and tailor our activities around their preferences. Are they active? house broken? crate trained? allergies? do they normally sleep in a bed, or on a dog bed? are they allowed on furniture? What are the specific commands they know? Are they friendly...kids, dogs, people? How are they on a leash? High prey drive? Also, what is their normal bathroom schedule? I love all dogs, but have a huge soft spot for larger dogs (bigger the better!) and the bully breeds.
A typical day
I live on the Sammamish river trail so there are miles in each direction to walk. During the week, there will be a morning walk, a midday walk and an evening walk. If its appropriate for the dog, they can go anywhere with me! I also nanny for 2 girls, so if they are kid friendly, the girls would love to take the dog to the park and play.
