Hi, my name is Heather! I'm a dedicated, hard working, active, knowledgeable, and loyal petsitter looking to keep your pets happy and comfortable while you're away. I have over 15 years experience with animal care, and have experience with a variety of different pets. I have a professional background working at boarding facilities, dog daycares, animal hospitals, and rescues, as well as vet tech experience over the past 15 years. I have experience with administering medication and vaccines, both orally and through injection. I have also taken classes about pet first aid and CPR, so I am knowledgeable of that. Your pets are in good hands while they are in my care, and can stay in the comfort of their own home!

Heather has watched my three dogs and my home on numerous occasions. She visits ahead of time with pen and paper in hand taking notes on schedule and nuances. She asks the questions you may forget. Heather exhibits a high level of expertise in dog care and has a phenomenal intuitive level of communication with my furbabies. I've always come home to well balanced, non-stressed dogs and a home which is kept in immaculate order. I can't recommend a sitter of higher caliber.

I have a dog of my own whom I'd have to bring with me during the stay due to her medical needs since she has epilepsy. She is dog friendly and has been exposed to many pets over the years (both dogs and cats). She sleeps most of the day and tends to keep to herself. She is also up to date on all vaccines. A meet & greet would be conducted prior to booking to ensure all pets get along.

Is your dog friendly towards other animals? I have a dog myself who is usually always with me, so your pets must get along with her. Is your pet updated on vaccines? Any medical concerns or conditions with your pet? Does your pet have any weird quirks to be aware of (fear, toy/food aggression, separation anxiety)?
A typical day
Keeping your pet comfortable is my top priority! I love staying active, so your pet will love going on walks with me or playing a continuous game of fetch/tug-of-war! If your pet is more of a "mellow" type, than I'm more than happy to give it individual attention with lots of belly rubs and cuddles!

I currently work a full time job and will typically be at work 5 days a week. Work hours can range anywhere from 6-12 hours a day.
