Hi, I’m Heather. Training dogs has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I have 14 years in the industry. I love strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners through training. In addition to training dogs, I have 8 years experience as a vet tech. I have a soft spot for high-energy dogs and senior pets. Book with me for more than just boarding, I will teach your dog obedience skills so they go home better than they dropped off.

Great experience for our dog Grady!
Heather took fantastic care of our Cooper! She worked on his leash skills and gave him plenty of outside time. He played really well with her pup, Aura. She was flexible with drop-off and pickup times and even gave us some great feeding tips! We will certainly board with Heather the next time we travel!

Dogs under my care are treated just like my own personal pets. This means they receive training time, enrichment activities, exercise, walks, and socialization with other dogs and people. I am big on household and leash manners with all dogs in my household. My home includes a 200+ square foot kennel room so the dogs have their own space - and my immersive program allows them to receive lots of love and playtime during their stay. Rest assured knowing I have temperature control and a monitored security system in place for safety. Dogs are always transported in locking, crash tested kennels.

I am able to take care of dogs of all ages, energy levels, and sizes. Due to my ability to work from home, I have plenty of time to meet each dog’s individual needs. I am capable of and comfortable administering oral and injectable medications.
A typical day
I love drinking my coffee on my porch while the dogs potty and play together first thing in the morning. After everybody had gotten exercised I hand feed breakfast through training or with a food dispensing toy. Everybody gets a mid day break for some individual loving and nap time. Dogs get walked separately just before dinner time. We finish our evening with a 1:1 training and play lesson and another group play session.

I own my own dog training business, so I have the freedom to create my own schedule. I am always on the go with my own dogs - always training for the sports we compete in and exploring pet friendly venues around town.
