Responsible, gentle & LOVE dogs!!
Pet care experience
I've raised two pups of my own, including one with who came with a pretty challenging disposition! I'm a psychologist, so I apply behavior modification methods when working with animals - which has included several different species. My special way of bonding with animals has earned me the nickname 'Dr. Doolittle' over the years. I absolutely love & respect animals, and do my best to understand them. I live near Green Lake and go on regular walks, so I would love to find a dog(s) to walk with me -- ideally on a regular basis. I am extremely nurturing with animals and will do all I can to ease any of your pup's potential anxieties. I will treat him/her with all of the kindness I would with my own non-human children. We will have a blast together!
Reviews
Heather was fantastic! She was very attentive and we felt totally at ease knowing our pup was well taken care of. Heather even shared some toys with our pup (who very much enjoyed tearing them to shreds!) We will absolutely book with Heather again :-)
Heather is amazing! She takes such good care of my lab puppy, and always plays with him until he's super tired!! I would give Heather 6 stars if I could!!
Heather did a fantastic job looking after our critters. It was very clear that they both were given love and attention while we were gone.
Heather was great! She was able to drop in on our cats on short notice, and our kitties seemed like they were well cared for when we were gone.

Information Heather L. would like to know about your pet
Any particular triggers in terms of anxiety, stress or aggression. Often dogs who show aggression are anxious, so I'd like to understand this. I'd also like to know all about your pup's favorite things - the things that will make him the most calm, relaxed and happy (i.e., words, music, treats, toys, blankets, types of petting, places, smells, etc.); as well as things I should avoid.
