Doggo Pack Leader

Pet care experience

I'm really into wellness and nutrition for both humans and animals. I think it's important to emulate what our wild ancestors did in a modern world. The closer we stick to nature, the happier and healthier we will be. I had my sweet Kiwi for 16 years, and have been sitting for friends' dogs (all sizes, shapes, and colors) consistently throughout that time. Kiwi transitioned May 2021 and was the love of my life. We've been on a lot of adventures and her presence brought so much joy to everyone she met. We worked really hard on obedience training her first year of life, and she was super easy all the way through her senior stages. In her last year of life, her senior symptoms rapidly accelerated and her tiny body simply couldn't keep up with her mighty spirit. Please feel free to look through my photos to see all the different dogs I have cared for. We have quite a few repeat clients and have even cared for doggos visiting from out of town! I also do drop-in wellness check for kitties. =^..^=

Heather is phenomenal! I would rate her 10 stars if that is an option. She is extremely responsible, professional, communicates well, and trustworthy. I was worried about leaving my cat on short notice without having met Heather. She put my mind at ease and took the best care of my cat. She updated me throughout the visit and also took the cutest pics of my cat. Thank you Heather!!

Heather is more than a sitter. She’s like a trainer. She gave a few tips on how to train my puppy at pick up. She responded to all my text messages promptly too! She was just so great!!

Heather is the perfect person to spend time with your fur person! She has made many suggestions to help my little guy make adjustments in his little journey. She is so gentle in her guidance of her corrections for the benefit of both myself and my Hurley. I highly recommend her for a trusted person to care for your dog.

Had a good experience with Heather. She kept me updated, sent me cute pictures, and was very informative. Dwayne seems to be at high spirits after coming home.

I prefer doggos that are crate trained and for owners to drop off crates during their stay. I have a playpen I can set up as well. I do not take pee pad using doggos because they've been conditioned to pee in doors and almost always have "accidents" in my home. They tend to aim for floor mats because those somewhat resemble the pee pads they're used to. For new dogs, I start them off in the playpen to see how they work with the space, other dogs, and experience/observe their level of obedience (training). If they willingly follow my commands, then they gain more freedom by having free range in the kitchen area. If they're well behaved, follow commands, don't potty in the house, then they are granted access to living room area. Upstairs is generally off limits because it's carpeted and there have been too many Rover doggo poop incidents.

What's their schedule like for feeding, walking, sleeping, potty, etc? How much obedience training have they received? How do they do with other dogs? How do they do with other people? Please share with me all the fun quirks and what they like or dislike!

A typical day

Amenities: LVT flooring downstairs** Enclosed back patio Tons of grassy spots in the community Park across the street to run around in Elementary school field nearby to run around and play Chuck-It fetch Dog-friendly neighborhood **Note: This is a pee pad free home. Pee pads communicate that it's ok for them to go potty inside the house. Pee pad trained dogs often pee on rugs or mats inside our home and that is not an "accident" for them because they have been trained to pee indoors. Dog Goodies: 2-3 walks per day (depending on individual dog's needs) Obedience training and enforcement Human Treats: IG worthy photo Any training help/advice I can provide Meet n Greet before your doggo's stay Additional Services (Please message for pricing): Grooming/Brushing Dental Care Pills Pick up/Drop off Drop off & Pick up Times: 8 AM - 9 PM is the window of when I respond to messages and am available for drop off and pick up. If you need to drop off or pick up outside of this time frame, please add on a night of boarding to accommodate both of our schedules. Doggy Day Care = 8 hour period is included. $3 will be added on for every additional hour, or round up to the Boarding fee, whichever is less. Dog Boarding = 24 hour period is included. $5 will be added on for every additional hour, or add in a day of Daycare, whichever is less. Additional Fees: Puppy Fee = $15/day will be automatically added by the system. Generally puppies require a lot more undivided attention, supervision, training, and work. In House Diarrhea Accident = $20. Unfortunately this has happened a few times....even with house trained doggos. Pee Pad Trained "Accident" Fee = $30/day. I can generally tell when a doggo has been pee pad trained based on mannerisms. I do not take pee pad using doggos, so this is really more of a dishonesty fee.

I'm accepting new drop in (cat & doggo) and walking (doggo) clients. In 2021 I received an overwhelming amount of new client requests, so I had to block them off so I could continue servicing existing clients. I'm only offering boarding and daycare to existing clients at the moment. I mostly work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. I adjust to what the various doggos needs are try to have the pack work together. I sometimes have to leave for appointments, meetings, errands, etc. and would prefer to only sit for doggos who are ok with being left home alone for a couple of hours and not have major separation anxiety. If I can bring them with me, I will.
