Pet care experience
I am a life-long animal lover! I grew up with 2 dogs and a cat. I am the proud "mommy" to a horse that I broke myself when he was 5 and have owned for 10 years now. He has my heart! I have experience taking care of animals from fish to horses. I am happy to come to your home and stay overnight if required. I will make sure all of your pet's needs are taken care of, and well as cleaning up the messes that do happen! They will get lots of affection and love as well :) Why I love dog sitting: I grew up with dogs and have always loved man's best friend. They are such wonderful, loving animals and always aim to please. They are loyal to a fault and will do anything (within reason) for their owners. Dogs really enrich your life! :) My experience administering medication: I am comfortable giving medication that is in pill form or liquid in a dropper by mouth, as I have experience with that. I don't have experience with giving shots, but am willing to learn if the dog owner is OK with that.

Heather is FANTASTIC. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. Heather was thoughtful and attentive to all of my dog's needs AND silly quirks. She kept my dog on her routine and went above and beyond to make sure that our dog was happy and comfortable. Heather also made sure I was comfortable while I was away by sending pictures of her and our dog playing, on walks, and relaxing at home. Heather also took great care of our home. It was nice to return from a trip to a clean, tidy home. I will be calling upon Heather again and again, and will recommend her highly to friends and family who are in need of a pet sitter.
Heather did a great job taking care of my 8 year old American Bulldog and Pitbull mix named Rebel. She came to my home and stayed for a week, including overnight while my family and I were on vacation in Ocean City, MD this summer. She made sure he was fed twice daily and had fresh water at all times. He is a high-energy dog so she spent time playing with him at liberty in the back yard, as well as taking him on regular walks. She also made sure the house was clean and looking good so coming home was a pleasure. I will definitely use her again!

I don't have any breed preferences and would basically like to know what kind of personality the dog has, what are his/her favorite things to do, and that type of thing so I can do a great job taking care of him/her.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend as much time as the owner would like me too, each dog is different. I am happy to spend overnights at your home as well. I do have a regular 20-30 hr job during the week, but am usually free on weekends, and I could just relax, hang out and spend lots of time with your furry friends! Extra house-sitting services I will absolutely help with those things! Been there and done that! Whatever I can do to help make your vacation, and your return home happy and stress-free :)
