I grew up in a house full of foster dogs. My mother always had at least 3-5 dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ranged from tea cup Chihuahua to Saint Bernard! My favorite rescue, that I kept for 12 years was a Boston Terrier. She was my baby and the worlds best dog. She had such a personality and great temperament. The day she passed was extremely hard and I haven't been able to bring myself to get a dog since. I was spoiled having her and was afraid I wouldn't find another who was so perfect for my family. It has been almost 2 years now and writing this 'about me' I can see her stocking hanging up in our home. Now that I have a young son I am realizing how much he needs to be around dogs. We have introduced him to a few different pets that our friends have and his face lights up. We are currently looking for a family pet but in the meantime want to watch yours. I know how pets are really just furry family members and although my yard isn't fenced in, there are 3+ acres that a dog can be walked around.
