I’m at home full time with a toddler who LOVES doggies! I should say, we both love doggies! My husband and I want a dog of our own because we love them and we both had many growing up. Now that I’m home full time, we’ll be getting a dog to add to the family but want to care for your dog in the meatime. For NYC standards, I have a large house in which your dog can roam and a fenced-in yard to play in. My toddler and I go on plenty of walks and would love for your dog to join us! I frequently dog-sit for family and friends (Dachshund, French Bulldog, Brussels Griffon, Yorkshire Terrier & Shih Tzu mix). They come for day visits and sometimes we have them for a few nights. I like to take pictures of the fun we’re having to send to the doggies families, as I know they’re missed so much! We can’t wait to care for and play with your dog!

Heather and her family were the best dog sitters! She sent many photos and updates throughout the week which put my mind at ease. She was very accommodating when my flight was late and ended up picking Stella up late. I appreciated her flexibility!
Heather and her family were so fantastic! The baby girl loves dogs so much and they played and had a great time! Heather is kind and communicative, I will definitely recommend this family. Bullet was so exhausted when he came home he slept immediately and all the way until the next morning.
Dear Rover team, Heather and Rich take care of my two dogs when I go out of town. I completely trust them with my dogs during this time. Both of my dogs have had various problems in their old age. Heather and Rich have no problem giving medications and/or carrying them if they can’t walk or jump on or off of furniture. They walk the dogs, play with them and even send me pictures of what they’re up to. Their almost 2 year old daughter has grown up with my dogs so she plays very nicely with them. The dogs love her and follow her wherever she goes. They each have special dietary needs so they’re careful to make sure their daughter doesn’t feed the dogs from the table. I used to live in Heather and Richard’s neighborhood. Heather and her daughter would come over and play with my two dogs while I was at work. They would take my dogs for a walk and then come back to my apartment and play with them. Their daughter is around Richard’s mother’s dogs all the time so their daughter is very comfortable around my dogs and loves them. Sometimes when I’m walking the dogs we stop by their house just so my dogs and their daughter can play for a bit. Heather is so great with my dogs. My dogs feel a sense of security with her and her cute little daughter which makes me feel at ease. I trust them with my dogs completely!
