Dogs of all sizes have been a part of my whole life. Dogs I believe are a member of the family and bring joy and happiness to the family. I will be there to help you care for your family member with love and care. Positive reinforcement walks beach trips or help with obedience. If you want to get away for the night or weekend I can help take care of your family members while you get the R&R you need. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of shade and quiet neighborhood. A dead end street for peaceful walks and a short drive to the north end beach. My husband and I have a love for dogs and rescuing. Our newest member was rescued off the streets of Puerto Rico. A little love goes a long way. Let me take care of your loved one.

My dog had a blast with heather and her pups.
Fabulous! Heather and Steve took great care of Wrinkles while we were on vacation. They sent pictures and updates daily to let us know how he was doing. Would highly recommend them!
Great location and dog friendly vibe for staying in home. I appreciated flexibility with drop off and pick up times including a mid week visit!
We almost don't want to let out this secret (because we want to keep Heather all to ourselves!) but we were thrilled with our puppy's stay with Heather. Right away, our timid 6-mpnth-old Hattie was happy to join their pups and be part of their home, and play in their yard. I would consider myself an average nervous dog mom, and right away I could tell Hattie would be in great hands with people who truly love dogs. We received multiple updates and photos and they spoiled her from the first night with snuggles on their bed. Hattie even joined them at an outdoor market in Manteo as part of a booth for gourmet doggie treats and they let us know that she met all sorts of new people and dogs and had a great time the whole week. They even returned her to us wearing an OBX bandana and packed us a surprise gift that was so sweet and thoughtful. We started calling them "Aunt Heather" and "Uncle Steve," by the end of Hattie's stay, and we can't wait to book them on our next OBX vacation.

During the weekdays Monday through Friday we both work standard 8am to 5pm jobs. But we are available during the weekends for sure anytime. We can help out during the week but just want to be honest about our hours.
