We’ve had dogs for 10 years and are experienced administering oral medications. We also have experience blood sugar testing and providing insulin shots to a cat. We provide a loving and stimulating environment for all dogs — yours and ours alike. We take daily walks and weekend hikes with our own dogs and, depending on your dog’s exercise needs, age and fitness, we would take them on appropriate length outings. The following information helps us get to know your dog and determine whether our household might be a good fit for them. What is your dog’s usual routine? How much exercise are they accustomed to, and how often do they need to pee? Do they have a favorite toy, blanket or game? Are they crate trained? Potty trained? In what situations are they most relaxed? How do they react to meeting other dogs and people? Do any particular sounds, situations, etc. make them nervous? Where do they prefer to sleep? We are available on weekends to watch your dog in our home, Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. We have some flexibility and value clear, consistent communication. We live on a quiet cul de sac in Hopkinton. Our spacious yard is not fenced, so outings are on-leash. We’re a short drive from Elm Brook Park, where our own dogs, Bo and Molly, love to romp. Bo is a senior Yorky-mix who loves to walk, sniff and sleep by the wood stove. Molly is an energetic, 5 y.I. Jack Russell mix who loves to cuddle and chase sticks. Bo and Molly both enjoy having other canines around!
