Hello! I'm Heather, an artist living in the South Loop. I work from home every day, so I am always around to care for your pup during its stay as my schedule is quite flexible. I take daily walks, trips to the dog park, and love to spend as much time as I can exploring outdoors, despite living in the city! I live in a quiet and comfortable condo, so you can relax knowing your dog is getting their own mini-vacation as well. :) I have personally been a dog owner for 10+ years, and I grew up with animals at home before I moved out as well, so I'm pretty well versed in the care and comfort of pets. I'm also a musician, so your pet can enjoy some serenades during their stay. :)

Heather communicates daily while we are out of town and includes pictures of our dog. She has kept Piper twice and we could not be more pleased.
Heather was super on top of it and flexible when the parking around my building was a hassle. My dog was happy and relaxed after.
I contacted Heather last min to taking my fluff nugget on a walk. She quickly confirmed and rearranged her schedule — super accommodating! Makes me happy to receive pics when away too. 100% will use Heather again and recommend!

I have a dog myself, and she's a total sweetheart, so aggressive, bullying dogs aren't going to be a good fit here. I'd like to know a dogs temperament and how they do with other dogs. What are some of your pups favorite things to do, ways to play, and what makes them feel the most comforted? Also, I do sound recording work from home, so dogs who are prone to barking won't be a good match.
A typical day
I live right next to one of the largest dog parks in the city. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. I also take frequent walks throughout the day! Plus, there's always time to play indoors as well. :)
