Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Heather! I'm recently graduated from university with my bachelor's in cybersecurity, and while in school I worked on a large horse farm. Now, I'm looking for my first career post-college, and until I find one I'm filling my time with dogs :) I've grown up around german shepherds my entire life. My grandfather trained them for tracking, so his love for german shepherds was passed down to my mom then me. I fostered german shepherds with my mom for a few years while I only had a small dog and two cats at the time. Now, I recently adopted two husky/samoyed/malamute puppies, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the sass and energy that I get from them! I thought I was going to stick to german shepherds until these two popped up on my computer.

Heather is great! My dog is shy and generally doesnt warm up to people quickly. Heather's calm nature was a perfect fit for my dog and they bonded so quickly. She kept me updated with pictures of them cuddling together and hanging out. She is also trustworthy for in home stays, as she has stayed at our home with our dog and cat twice. Even our cat who hates everyone seems to like her. She is great! Highly recommend!
Heather is amaizing animals. If you look on her Facebook pictures she has so many with the animals we foster. When ever we have a foster it’s her room they sleep in. She would be great at this.

I follow strict schedules with feeding, nap time, or anything else required. I use crates when needed/asked. My senior dog is on a strict pill schedule, so I'm very conscious of things of this nature.
Information Heather H. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know of any special needs, how they get along with other animals - such as interactions with other dogs, how they handle seeing cats/other small animals, do they have anxiety or triggers I should be warned about? Is your dog allowed treats? If so, do I need to know about any allergies, etc.
A typical day
I love interacting with pets! I love teaching them and keeping them stimulated. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a pet tired after a log day of playing, excessive, and mental stimulation.

Availability
I get up to walk my own two puppies at 6:30AM, so I'm available after 7:30AM to 11AM. Then after 1:00PM I'm available until about 6:30PM.
