Pet care experience
Hi I’m Heather. I have grown up owning and loving animals, and I know the struggle of finding good pet sitters when needed. Whether you’re planning a vacation and need overnight care, or just need someone to give your pet some attention during the day, I can be that person for you! For overnight care I prefer to stay at your home where your furr babies are most comfortable, but I will allow dogs in my home if you prefer. I’ve provided house and pet sitting for friends and family for years. I only work part time in health care so I’m available often during the day and on weekends. I have most weekdays blocked out as unavailable but if you contact me I can usually work you into my schedule as needed! I own two dogs and two cats. Tucker is a Yorker Poodle who loves to take walks and playing with the cats. Daisy is a lab mix who wants to be with people all the time, loves playing fetch and playing with other dogs. Harley and a Remi are the cats, both playful and get along well with dogs (Remi thinks she’s a dog). Our first time. We were a little more than nervous but Heather made us feel at ease she took great care of our little girl! Looking forward to using her for our next trip.
I have had Heather stop by my house a few times a week to let my aging Daisy out for bathroom breaks. A couple breaks during the day has never been a problem for Heather and the house is always locked up tight when I arrive from home from work. I’m sorry to hear she is leaving NC but I’m sure someone else will surely benefit from her compassion and care.
We recently found out Heather is moving to Ohio and couldn’t be more sad :( we’ve been using her to house sit for years and she’s amazing with our dog Milo. He’s very high energy and gets nervous when he’s away from home so having someone who we can trust come to him instead is irreplaceable. Heather texts me pictures and videos to show me how much fun Milo is having on walks and playing in the backyard. I can not recommend her more. We’ll miss her greatly here in North Carolina.
Heather is a great pet sitter! She was recommended to me by a friend after our usual pet sitter canceled the day of our trip and Heather filled in at the last minute. She sent us pictures of our animals who all seemed to love her. Even the cat sat with her on the sofa. The house was spotless when we got home, which is so nice after a long trip, and our animals were very content when we arrived home. You won’t regret using Heather’s services I promise you that.
