Pet care experience
I have been the neighborhood pet sitter since I was 13 years old. Animals are why I am here on Earth; it is a calling, and I have answered. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a minor in psychology. I studied both human and animal psychology. Animals are my passion, and I feel absolutely blessed that I am living my dream being a pet caretaker! I am compassionate, trustworthy, communicative, respectful, and playful.

We have been working with Heather for about a week so far and it has been going great! She is great with communication and takes wonderful care of our dogs.
We absolutely love Heather, and trust her completely with our three dogs and an elderly cat. She is so gentle and calm, and has gained the trust of our extremely fearful dog. She has been our dog sitter now for several months, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I can care for your fur baby in your home, following any and all instructions to replicate your routine as closely as possible! If you don't have a fenced in yard for your pups, I can use leashes or any provided chains/cords in the yard for outside play time. I can also take them for walks using a leash.

It is helpful to know if your dog likes to pick up garbage, if they are reactive to other dogs, if they are prey-motivated, if they prefer brisk walks or if they like to stop to smell the roses. It is also helpful to know and preferences they may have for going potty, and how many times they may poop.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs! I am adaptable to what their play preference is, and will make sure they have as much fun as I have. I love mentally stimulating dogs, creating scavenger hunts and other enrichment for them. I like to take dogs to their favorite place to walk, if possible. If there is no where specific, we will go for an adventure wherever they lead us!

This is my fulltime job, so my availability is pretty open and flexible! I am available for daytime and nighttime care on weekdays and weekends.
