Nurturing & Playful Caregiver
Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover and have worked with dozens of species over the years, including all manner of amphibians, repitiles, mammals and birds, so I’m very comfortable if you have other pets in the home besides dogs. I’ve worked at the SF Zoo and Marine World (ask me about feeding a bottle to a baby rhino!) and am comfortable dealing with juvenile, adult and geriatric pets. My main priority is to nurture your pet and your home and to make you feel overjoyed by choosing me to be their caretaker. I will do my best to follow your pet’s regular schedule/routine to minimize stress and keep them feeling safe. I also believe that a tired pup is a happy pup, so you can expect lots of play time, walks and trips to the dog park.
Reviews
Heather was an amazing sitter! Took great care of my little dog honey.
Heather was great- very professional and communicative- highly recommended
Wonderful hospitality, regular updates/pictures of my 15yo dog while traveling. Will *definitely* prioritize reserving future stays with Heather :)
Heather was absolutely amazing. Came through for us at a last min request. She was fantastic with our pup and very communicative. We will definitely use her again!!

Information Heather H. would like to know about your pet
I generally prefer an in-home meet-and-greet to get a sense of your pet’s personality and needs. I can work with challenging dogs, but prefer not to work with overly aggressive dogs.
A typical day
At a minimum, you dog can expect neighborhood walks and in-home play (and of course belly rubs). Time allowing, and if it’s appropriate, I love off-leash hikes and trips to the dog park.
