Pet care experience
Growing up on a ranch, I was constantly around animals and wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve always loved them. I’ve had many dogs, cats, and all the critters in between! Let me know your pets needs, typical schedule and if you need help redirecting any behaviors or encouraging any commands!

Thank you so much, Heather! Opie had the best time with Ben and Queenie. Opie can be a little timid and Heather knew exactly what to do to help him along. She provided lots of photos and videos that made me feel so at ease. This was my first experience with Rover - and I loved it. Easy to book, easy pick up and drop off. Words can’t express how amazing Heather was with our dog!! She went above and beyond with taking care of her. She sent me so many pictures and videos and just loved on her. I can’t wait for my dog to see her again! If you need a sitter she is the one to go with!
Really appreciated her caring attitude. I was also thankful for the frequent updates (videos and pics) that made me comfortable my pups were safe and happy.

I have an older Lab who is friendly but gets stressed if our guests don’t understand when he doesn’t want to play. Dogs that can understand a little bark for boundaries, or are receptive to my commands, fit best to ensure everyone has a good time. Queenie is under a year and is quite the little character but very friendly! She likes big and little pups! You can find her protecting Benjamin or playing chase or fetch! We have a fully fenced yard. Dog beds, toys and pet friendly furniture! Pet-parent approved treats and belly rubs are always on demand! KONG toys and peanut butter are on the daily snack menu around here, too! *Please let me know if your pet(s) have any allergies. *Intact males on a case by case basis.

Please let me know if your pet has ever shown aggression with toys, food, other dogs or people. Everyone’s safety is my main priority. Let me know any extra needs or requests you may have. If they have their potty training down or they’re still working on it. Just knowing their general temperament toward people, as well as other dogs, helps a ton. Anything they don’t like and the things they love, too!
A typical day
In the hotter months we mostly stay inside. We do have the doggy pool but even that gets warm quick. All pups are closely monitored for overheating while outside for potty breaks and provided with shade, plenty of water/ice cubes and occasionally, frozen treats! Once the sun goes down (or before it comes up) we’re outside burning off some energy while it’s cool or relaxing before bed. Interactive toys, lick pads, and hide and seek with treats is one of our favorites. And of course, we’re all for snuggling up and watching a movie. We have gates for separation if needed for whatever reason.
