My husband and I both think dogs are the best pets and seeing a dog with a wiggly tail having fun gives me joy. I have two dogs; Dr. Frankenfurter Reynolds, a Chihuahua Terrier and Sam Elliott Smith, a Dachshund Pomeranian. They are my best friends. As a pet owner, I know what it's like to go on vacation and leave these two home. I know this can be stressful, but I want to make sure your pup is loved, safe and having as much fun with me as they would if they were at home with you. I operate under the philosophy that dogs love to make people happy and I want to make them happy too! We also have a tabby cat, Princess Bean Head. She thinks she is a dog and doesn't mind being around dogs. But, if they get to inquisitive, she will put them in their place, but because she is a little sweetie, she doesn't use her claws. On a typical day, your pup and I will hang out with my dogs and have a puppy party in our huge fenced backyard. We will play fetch, chase each other and relax under the apple tree. If this doesn't exhaust us, we might take a walk to nearby Jefferson Park to sniff all of the plants or down to Point Defiance Park’s off-leash park to meet some new friends. If your dog is into watersports, we could even walk along the pebbly shore at Owen Beach and dip our paws into the waves. Once we’re tired, we will grab a bite to eat and snuggle on the couch. I have 8 years of experience with my own dogs and most of my experience has been with smaller breeds. Before we moved to Tacoma, when we lived in Seattle, I was a volunteer dog kennel attendant at the Seattle Humane Society for three years. With my experience, I feel confident that I can help dogs have a fun safe visit. I have a full time job Monday through Friday close to home which allows me availability to go home for mid day potty breaks and a quick snuggle. I will love and care for any dog that stays at my house as if they were mine and make sure all of the dogs in my care are safe while keeping in contact with their owners via photos and updates daily. Rest assured, your dog is having a wonderful time while you are away.
