Kind Person Devoted to Dogs & Cats!

Pet care experience

Throughout my entire life, I have been a devoted pet owner, having both dogs and cats. The love for these animals runs deep within my family, as we have had the pleasure of caring for numerous breeds over the years. When it comes to meeting the needs of our beloved fur babies, I have always been their reliable source of assistance. Presently, I am fortunate to share my home with four cherished cats and a small dog whom I adore.

Heather came to my house to check on my cat. She was very caring when looking after my cat. My cat is nervous when people come to our house. I appreciate your kindness toward meow meow. She was also very respectful of my house. She took pictures. I definitely will be using Heather on my next out of town trip. I highly recommend Heather to care and look after your animals. Thanks again Heather and I will be recommending your services to my family and friends.

I've known Heather for many years and her love for animals is very strong. She cares for her own dog and 4 cats , and has taken great care of all my cats when needed. I highly recommend Heather for all your pet needs as she will take great care and love them like they were her own.

During my visits to your home, I ensure that your pets receive dedicated playtime, along with their essential needs such as food and water. If your pets require oral medication, rest assured that I am capable of administering it diligently. I find that pets are often more at ease in their own environment, which is why I prefer dropping in at the client's home. However, if necessary, I can also provide doggy daycare services in my own home. The well-being of all animals in my care is of utmost importance to me. My pets are all neutered or spayed, and they are kept up to date with their vaccinations. For the benefit of your pets, there are ample dog-walking areas and lush green spaces nearby. Furthermore, my home features a backyard equipped with a doggy door, allowing for plenty of room to run and exercise. When you entrust me with the responsibility of caring for your fur babies, rest assured that they will receive the love, attention, and professional care they deserve. Look no further when searching for a compassionate caregiver for your beloved pets!

Information Heather H. would like to know about your pet

When taking care of a dog, it's important to me to gather as much information as possible beforehand to ensure the well-being and safety of the dog. Here are some important details I like to know ahead of time: 1. Basic Information: Obtain the dog's name, age, breed, and any specific identifying features. This will help you address the dog properly and identify them easily. 2. Health and Medical History: Ask about the dog's overall health condition and any existing medical issues. It's crucial to know if the dog requires any medication, has allergies, or has any specific dietary restrictions. 3. Vaccination Records: Verify if the dog is up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and other necessary vaccines. This information is important to ensure the safety of both the dog and any children in your care. 4. Behavioral Traits: Inquire about the dog's temperament, behavior, and any past incidents of aggression or anxiety. Knowing how the dog typically reacts to various situations will help you anticipate and handle their behavior appropriately. 5. Exercise and Daily Routine: Learn about the dog's exercise needs and daily routine. Ask how often they are usually walked and for how long. Understand their feeding schedule and any specific instructions for meals or treats. 6. House Training: Determine the dog's house-training status. Ask if they are fully trained to go outside, if they use pee pads, or if they have any specific behaviors associated with their bathroom needs. 7. Favorite Toys and Activities: Find out what toys, games, or activities the dog enjoys. This information will help you engage and entertain them during your time together. 8. Emergency Contacts: Obtain the contact information of the dog's owner or guardian, as well as their regular veterinarian. In case of any emergencies or unforeseen situations, you'll need to reach out to them promptly. 9. Walking and Leash Behavior: Ask about the dog's behavior on walks and how they interact with other dogs or animals. If they have any leash-related issues, such as pulling or reacting aggressively, it's important to be aware of these behaviors in advance. 10. Special Instructions: Inquire about any specific instructions regarding the dog's care, such as grooming needs, preferred treats, or any fears or triggers they may have. Pay attention to details and follow the owner's guidelines closely. To me, each dog is unique, and gathering this information ahead of time will help me provide the best care possible during my time with them.

A typical day

Dogs, similar to humans, possess their own distinct personalities. To effectively interact with a dog, it is crucial for me to comprehend their preferences. Thus, I would communicate with the owners to learn about the activities and games that their dog finds enjoyable, and then engage accordingly. One delightful endeavor I eagerly anticipate is taking the dog for leisurely strolls in parks or other pleasant environments. I also find great pleasure in participating in interactive play, utilizing toys, balls, or even a stick to entertain them. While certain dogs may relish having their ears gently played with or performing tricks to receive praise and treats, others may not share the same level of enthusiasm. Engaging in conversation with the dog can surprisingly be a source of joy for them, as many truly appreciate the interaction. Moreover, embarking on car rides can prove to be an exhilarating experience for numerous dogs. It is important to acknowledge that each dog is unique, and their preferences may vary. Therefore, discovering what they truly love and granting them the time to relish those activities while I spend time with them is something that brings me great satisfaction.
