My sister Heather is one of the best dog owners I know. She has done amazingly training her dog Frida, who has grown into the most well behaved and sweet pup. Heather has the perfect balance of patience, kindness, and control that makes her a great fit for a service like Rover. I truly cannot think of a better stay-cation for a pet! Bonus, she has a fantastic house and yard for all critters alike to roam! Brutis (Heather's roommate's dog) is also a joy to be around and provides endless entertainment searching for lost balls. Your furry companion will be in good company with Heather, Brutis, and Frida - I cannot recommend this motley crew enough!

You could not find a better person to work with animals. I can personally attest to Heather's care and concern for animals that are not her own... Last year I had a tumor, went into septic shock and had a tracheotomy. As a result, I was hospitalized for over 3 months. During that time I cannot tell you what I would have done if Heather had not cared for my dog Brutus. She not only took care of his basic needs, but also made sure he was comfortable, engaged and that he still felt like he had family. I would also like to briefly discuss the great care Heather shows for her own dog companion, Frida. Heather is the type of pet owner who will go out of her way to ensure that if she travels that Frida can accompany her. Heather also innovates around the activities her and Frida do together. Frida has been camping all over the state, there is not a local dog park that Frida has not been to and is not familiar with and Frida partakes in outdoor activities during all four seasons (Minnesota is getting closer to two, but you catch my drift). Finally, she is exceptional at training behaviors. I have walked Frida around some of the busiest lakes in the Twin Cities and you will not find a better behaved dog. Frida is polite, social and has great recall. These behaviors are reflective of Heather's commitment to her dog and the time and care she takes to ensure the highest quality of life for not just her own companion, but for others. 10/10 would recommend!
