Any Breed any Size!

Pet care experience

When it comes to pet care, I do not shy away from any breed nor age. I have been taking care of family members, neighbors and of course word of mouth clients since I was very young. I have been told by numerous folks that I am the animal whisperer! My love for pets and animals led me to become a certified pet groomer. I have studied pet nutrition and dog daycare/boarding. I currently hold certification in pet CPR and First Aid. My experience with pet sitting has been lengthy in-home stays at the client's home. To drop-in visits during the day and evening. I have also travelled to many homes out of state so that the pet parents can have peace of mind that someone they love and trust not only for their pet but their homes and their belongings. I have also cared for pets in my home while pet parents were out of state or country for long periods of time. They have entrusted me with their pet's well-being and nutrition outside of pet sitting. I make home cooked meals for many of my client's pets. They knew they wanted something different than over the counter pet food and I have provided that for many of them. I have a lot of personal experience with senior pet care. Not only my own pets as they age but also clients, family and friend's pets. I am very comfortable with any dietary needs or medications that may need to be administered. With my grooming certification curriculum, I have a great knowledge of pet anatomy. I know how to properly move joints and muscles on a K9 and a feline. I can spot potential health issues on pets before they become a problem. I am comfortable caring for your pets that are pregnant, pets that have special medical needs, senior care and of course puppy care! I am also fully set up to perform mobile grooming in your home during my visits with your pet. I have all equipment necessary to perform a bath and brush and pet cut if requested. I currently have 3 dogs. 2 Yorkshire Terriers that are over the age of 10 and a 2-year old Belgian Malinois. She is a service animal recognized and registered with the ADA. As of now I am not able to sit your pet in my home. However, I can do numerous drop -in visits a day to take care of whatever needs you have for your pet or pets during the visits. I love to hike and walk and enjoy the outdoors immensely. So, if your pet has a lot of energy and likes to get outside and play, I can provide that! I have numerous photos of pets I sit for and also pets that I groom regularly. If you are interested in booking me for sitting purposes, I can provide those photos upon request!

Heather is the most naturally empathetic human being I have ever met and absolutely loves animals. She treats and love my kids as I do. I couldn’t ask for a more caring person to take care of my kids. She is the on a short list of two people in this world I trust my kids to. My kids come home with the most adorable hair cuts! She takes care of and worries about my kids as if they were her own. I could not ask for more.

Heather was great! She did daily visits to check on our kitty when we were on vacation, she texted us with updates, pictures etc. We will for sure ask her again in the future to take care of our cat! Highly recommended!!!!

Our Shitzu mix Bella is very difficult to groom. Her coat is extremely prone to matting, and she’s apparently a handful when we’re not around. As a result, her haircuts have always been less like grooming appointments, and more like shearing sessions. Regardless of what we asked her groomers to do, we always got Bella back from her appointments a little traumatized, and looking like a naked mole rat with floppy ears. Allegedly due to excessive matting, and the difficulty they had getting Bella to stay still. We had accepted that this was how it would be until we found Heather. I had seen the magic she had worked on my Mom’s Yorkie and decided to see what she could do for Bella. I can’t adequately describe the difference. Not only was it by far the best haircut Bella’s ever had (she doesn’t even look like the same animal), she acted like she had been hanging out with her best friend all afternoon. Heather seems to have cracked the Bella code. I cannot recommend Heather strongly enough. Bella has found her groomer for life.

We and our beasts could not love Heather more! She can and does everything. We have 3 giant breed dogs, one is still a puppy. Let's start out by saying I've never met anyone that can walk all 3 of them at the same time and have complete control. And that includes us, their owners! :) Heather came to our home to groom all 3 of them and did such a great job. I cannot stress enough how big and shaggy they are and she was so professional and worked quickly so our doggos didn't get so tired. I am really impressed how good heather is with nail trimming. Most dogs do not like it, but she nailed it! (pun intended!) We also have 5 cats. Our gorgeous white Persion/Ragdoll mix Magnolia had a very traumatic pregnancy and birth. Magnolia lost all the kittens with her first pregnancy and we were doing everything we could to not have the same result. When things started to go wrong again I immediately thought of Heather because she is SO calm under pressure and has a calming nature and I was a basket case! She came immediately and worked with us through the night. Magnolia birthed 3 gorgeous and healthy kittens! We couldn't have done it without Heather. We cannot recommend Heather enough and are so excited for her to embark on this career change!
