Hello, I'm Heather! I am dog lover with an active lifestyle. I'm originally from the US and live in an apartment close to both Vondelpark and Rembrandt park with my Dutch partner Paul. I was raised with dogs as a part of the family, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I grew up with a dalmatian and rescued an Australian Shepherd/sheltie that were both full engery and fun. I pet sat for many years for both friends and family and Paul and I also fostered 3 dogs (2 from Romania and 1 from Gran Canaria) during the various covid lockdowns. We know that every pet can have their own quirks and specific needs to keep them happy and healthy. If your pet has special medical needs I have experience with giving medication in pill and drop form. It's probably not too long until we get a dog of our own, but until then we're excited about the opportunity to care for your dog and we'll make sure to give them the love and attention they need while you're away!
