Pet care experience
As a middle school English teacher, I am available all summer, almost every day. I am also available on the weekends and most holidays throughout the year. I currently have a husky/german shepard/terrier mix that is two years old, named Loki. He is a ton of fun and loves everyone and everything, especially his siblings (my two cats) Midnight and Pippin. Loki is quite energetic and loves to play ball, so we are always going to the dog park and for walks. I have had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember, in addition to a wide variety of farm animals growing up. I have been with Rover for a year now and have a wide range of experience with many different breeds and sizes.

I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my dog. Heather was very accommodating to my schedule, and my dog loved staying with her for the weekend. Would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!
Heather is awesome! She's super communicative, prompt and knowledgable: we were thrilled to have her (and Loki) hang with Brixton for the day. He came home EXHAUSTED and happy. We will definitely book with Heather again!

Heather and her dog, Loki are the best hosts! I contacted Heather last minute (the night before!)to watch my dog at her home while I was working in her town. She responded right away from the airport after landing back home. Dempsey is very sensitive to people's energy and was immediately comfortable with Heather which made it easy for me to head to work knowing he was in good hands. Heather updated me throughout the day as to how Dempsey was doing and even sent me pictures. Dempsey and Loki are best pals! Dempsey went there 3 days that week and 3 more days the following week. I will contact her any time I'm in the area with my dog. Thanks Heather and Loki!

I do not have any breed preferences, but I would definitely like to know how a dog reacts around other pets before I bring them into my home. Loki, Midnight, and Pippin are my "babies" and I want to keep them safe.
A typical day
Because I live in a townhouse with a small yard, and am a very active person, Loki and I are frequently going for walks around the neighborhood, to the nearby park, or we take a short drive to the dog park. I have a waterproof seat cover in my car since Loki likes to get as dirty as possible at the dog park, so I can take your dog to and from the park no matter how much fun they have there!
