🥰&fun! Insured,licensed, bonded

Pet care experience

My motto is always to #havefunwithit!!! Drop-in visits, Dog Walking, and Enrichment (FUN!!) Program Services! Insured, bonded, and licensed pet CPR/First aid certified. Frequency discounts! I do this full time as a licensed, insured, and bonded pet sitter, dog walker, and pet caregiver as Heather Feeney’s Colorful Companions, LLC. I do have several reviews and testimonials on request and more than 20 repeat clients through my professional pet sitting and dog walking business. You can find more information by looking me up on Facebook or google as well! I want to bring love and fun to your home! I truly enjoy what I do and am doing what I love that will hopefully blossom into doing in-home behavior consults or training (one day, haha). When working with you and your animal companions you will always get photo updates, report cards, and safety as a priority! -My special skills include being able to provide enrichment and safe pet care practices, such as double leash retention, ice sheets during hotter months, water, and a first aid kit on me at all times during walks/visits. I can provide certain medical requests (such as oral medication or injections). I worked at a dog daycare/kennel alongside my pet care business gaining knowledge and experience with multiple dogs. I grew up with dogs (small, medium, and LARGE), cats, birds, small companion animals, fish, and horses over the years.

My fur babies had another great visit with Heather. Each visit warming up to her more. Thanks again Heather, until next time.

We are so happy to have Heather walking our sweet baby boy! Heather does a great job taking care of him and we are so happy that we came across her name on Rover!

Another fabulous sitting job by Heather. She goes the extra mile to try and play/socialize with my skiddish, shy kitties, always letting them take the lead. The daily updates and photos really make time away more enjoyable. Heather is definitely the person you want caring for your pets when you can’t. Thanks again Heather

Heather watched our two cats, including one that needs meds twice a day. She provided very detailed updates and photos from her visits, and we felt confident that our kitties were in good hands while we were away! We will definitely plan on using Heather again in the future.

When caring for a client’s animal companion in their homes, I always make sure to conduct a consultation (meet and greet) so that I am introduced to the companions before providing services. This ensures that your animal companions feel safe and secure with someone they are familiar with while I am in their home. This is used to establish what boundaries and needs your animal companion needs from me while you are away. Safety is the most important aspect of my job for your animal companions. All services are base rates. For any drop-in service requests, I try and ask that I also be able to meet the animal companion I will be providing care for. I do have frequency discounts for walks/hikes and for 10 drop in visits or more. I have trail exploration as a service where I go for a hike with your doggo with lots of sniffing, and engaging activities with toys, or treats. Water is always a great way to play too! I take into consideration the weather outside as well so if we are scheduled for a walk and it is too hot I can also accommodate an alternative activity such as a pool, sniffari activities, brain games, and more for no additional charge(s). The back of my vehicle has been turned into an enrichment center for dogs, cats, and birds so I have activities and toys on hand at all times!

Information Heather F. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your animal companion(s) has any special needs or requirements ahead of time and I most likely can meet you and ensure that I understand what is needed. I can conduct telephone or video consultations. However, it is preferred I also conduct a meet and greet, in person, before sitting any animal. This helps to ensure that the pet is not anxious, or fearful when meeting me if his/her pet parents left for an extended period. Medical, Allergies, & Health Information: • What vet should I go to for an emergency & what emergency contacts do you have outside of yourself? • Any medical conditions or any medications/supplements? Any allergies? Behavior & Training • How are they with other dogs or cats and/or children? • Is there a favorite toy or game your companion enjoys? • Do they get anxious, scared, or worried when left alone? • Are they an escape artist? • Are they protective or guard their food or toys? • Does the pet steal food from or jump on counters and tables? • Is your companion house trained? • Do accidents occur when they are anxious, nervous, or excited? • Does your companion act differently around new spaces or people? • Are there any behaviors that your companion does that concern you I should know? Routine: • What do they usually eat? • What is their potty break or litter cleaning schedule? • Do they get regular play time or walks? • Are treats or special rewards expected at certain times?

-I will do my research to find new trails and parks in the surrounding areas to walk/hike with your pets. Any other requested areas work well. I try to refrain from dog parks for safety reasons for both your animal companion and other animal companions. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to each animal companion! This goes for dogs, cats, birds, and big or small animals as well! -If you have any special requests I am willing to provide them with further discussion. I love and enjoy seeing all the lovely dogs, cats, fish, birds, and farm companions while giving them the best exercise or enrichment they need. I bring various activities to help your pet enjoy themselves during my visits, even during a walk or hike. I have always felt a deep connection and passion for being in a world alongside animal companions. Having my regular visits with the companions I currently see has helped me build a tremendous bond with them in learning everything it is to get to know about them when they open up to being themselves. I can be flexible and work with you given enough notice and communication is key when caring for any animal companion. If you cannot request me through Rover for a service I am unavailable for, please contact me directly from the contact information listed on my business card in the photos. Yes it is my phone number it just happens to be a different area code since I was in the Army prior to doing this career and I never changed the number.
