Please read the following if you are interested in the day-care or overnight boarding option: If you have a medium to large sized dog who needs one-on-one attention, you've got the right person! My name is Heather, and I am a proud dog mom of a 2 year old Ridgeback-Coonhound mix pup named Izzy. I work from home as an artist, and I am used to caring for a very mischievous and high-energy dog. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, this will be a great match. I believe in positive reinforcement training, and my pets are like people to me. My home is "puppy proofed" with nearly EVERYTHING put away in closed-lid containers at all times. My pets are also current on their shots. We only do dog treats here, no table scraps! Please let me know if your pooch has special dietary needs. You will need to bring a sufficient supply of food for your dog to eat, and one bowl for the food. There is a shared water bowl, and I have an extra water bowl if the pups need to drink separately. We have a cat named Aries who keeps to himself for most of the day. He is curious and friendly but doesn't do well with other cats. So, we can only board dogs here. Additionally, I only have energy to care for one extra dog at a time. FOR EXTENDED STAYS (3 nights or more): Exercise is a number one priority for me when I'm caring for larger dogs. If your pup is staying with me for more than 3 days, you will notice that my fee increases. This is to cover two 1.5 mile walks with your dog daily, to ensure that they are well-behaved in my home and to prevent excessive roughhousing with Izzy. Your doggo will get very much one-on-one attention with me, and will be nice and tired and pooped upon pick-up.
