Pets love me!

Pet care experience

Hello! I have been a long standing dog boarder with Rover and couldn't have been happier with my choice. However, I have returned to the 9-5 office grind and will only be accepting the doggies I have grown to love and adore. If you need a sitter recomendation, I suggest reaching out to Stephen Brown. He has helped me through my journey as a sitter and is capable of caring for your beloved furry buddy.

Heather is the absolute best. Many times on our walks, my pup, Lady Bird, would pull me toward her house to visit. She was reliable, sweet and well loved by LB.

Great experience working with Heather. She sends great updates and our dog Bruce really seems to enjoy his stays with her. Would definitely recommend.

Information Heather D. would like to know about your pet

So far I have been lucky to have had such amazing dogs stay with me. I have taken care of puppies as old as 3 months and older dogs with medical issues. I have administered medication and leash trained a few indoor pups. I have a soft spot for larger breeds but seem to be the small dog crowd favorite. I have had wild success with the bully breeds and am not intimated by their reputation. Beside the basic temperament, shot record, and special needs information, The most important thing I need to know when caring for your dog is whether or not s/he gets along well with other dogs. If you do not know, that is okay as well. We can schedule our meet and greet at a dog park. A less than social dog is not a deal breaker but it is helpful knowledge so I do not create an uncomfortable living situation for either party involved. I tend to take dogs to dog friendly places, dog parks, dog friendly hiking trails, and my section of the city is densely populated with dogs on the street.

A typical day

I am an active person who prefers to be outside than indoors. I like to bring my new canine friends with me as I explore new sections of the city. Typically, we will will start our day with a two hour walk around 5 - 7 a.m. and end with an hour and a half walk between 9 -11 p.m.. Of course i sprinkle in 2-4 more walks in between. I like to stay as engaged with the dogs as much as possible. However, I am adjustable to dogs who require more alone time as well. Snuggly dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me and I can also create a safe space for them to decompress alone.
