My parents, in two separate households, have always taken in rescue dogs since I was a young child. Because of this I have always had a natural love and respect for dogs. More importantly I have been able to understand how every dog has their own personality and needs. As an adult I have not owned my own dog, but instead have raised 4 children between the ages of 9-19 who have learned to share the same love and respect for dogs. I am currently self-employed and have a very flexible schedule to accomadating sitting, walking and visits with dogs. We have a garage connected to the basement that we use as a workout room. This would be an ideal doggie suite that comes with a couch, nightlight and tv to make your dog feel comfortable during their stay.

Heather and her lovely family took amazing care of Baloo. We got updates the whole time. Baloo had plenty of love over the 4 days we left him with Heather. And most importantly: we received him back happy and healthy and trusting of her. We will trust Heather again next time. Thank you Heather.
I fear writing a review because I suspect Heather will never be available again! We left our pooch Ravioli with Heather and her awesome family twice now, both times for 4+ days and Ravi always comes back tired and happy. The 5 kids play with her all the time when she's in the house, and mom Heather takes her out on long walks and short runs in the park in her neighborhood. They are so sweet with her, she is slathered with love. After she comes back I have to make sure to give her lots of extra attention so she doesn't want to move in with them instead of me! I have had a few bumps in my schedule and Heather was so flexible and accommodating. Also, I gave her a few pointers after the first visit about things my dog especially likes, and the second visit they were integrated into her care routine. Really awesome set-up! I just hope there's still room in Heather's schedule for Ravioli in the future! I'm sure I'm not the only person who will love this family. Thanks, Heather! And my best to your wonderful kids.
