I have ample amount of time for your beloved pet/pets . I treat your pet as I would my own, with love and tenderness. When animals are happy I am happy. I understand that every pet is different. I have learned so much about dogs especially by having my own and working with trainers, volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society, pet sitting, dog walking, volunteering abroad and researching a range of everything from diet, to training and how best to care for pets. I am an active person who loves to walk with and be around dogs. I follow whatever direction you have for me, for your pet precisely. I am in my element when I am around and or serving animals in some way. Though I have a dog, my dog loves to stay with my mom while I am keeping your dog company for sleep over's, so they will have my full attention. I believe in positive reinforcement, there is no such thing as a bad dog, it is our responsibility to guide them as best as we can with a calm but assertive nature (at least when it comes to their safety) because we are their companions and caretakers. I have had large breed dogs that have come to me from trauma situations. I am incredibly responsible and aware if a dog shows signs of fear aggression. I never take chances. I have a small dog now who came from the streets of Northern California and we are working on his fear of some people and most dogs when he first meets them. We have had great success! We meet the dog and owner outside for a walk, after this introduction and reassurance this new dog is safe, there is never another bark or growl, just tail wagging and making friends. I have a genuine connection, compassion and gratitude for animals.
