Attention to detail and providing exceptional animal care is my full time job, literally! I am a zookeeper, and have been professionally caring for a variety of species for over 8 years. As a zookeeper, I have extremely high standards for animal care and customer service. Besides caring for large, exotic and also domestic animals as a career, I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, small reptiles, a ferret, and most recently, Ned Stark, the One True Guinea Pig King of the North. I am extremely responsible in my duties, very patient with the animals in my care, and have extensive experience with positive reinforcement training. And as a zookeeper, I am also willing to work hard, no matter what the Midwest weather decides to do that day! I work with animals who weigh up to 850 lbs, so I am comfortable with pretty much any breed or size of dog! You can trust me to take the absolute best care of your pets! I do have a full time job, but am available most mornings and evenings before and after work, and am off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so those days, my schedule is open! I have experience with geriatric, blind, and deaf animals, and giving oral medications. I am also comfortable to give injectable medications and eye medications with further instruction.
