Pet care experience
I am a mature and responsible adult who has a soft spot for dogs. I live with my husband, three children - all teens now, and two cats who make themselves rather scarce when dogs are here. We love the unconditional love of dogs and the companionship they provide. My husband and I both very much enjoy taking dogs for walks. My brother and his dog lived with us and we did much of the caregiving. We are reluctant to have our own dog because of the cats, but are happy to manage juggling both from time to time. We also have a nice fenced-in back yard. :) About this sitter: I am a responsible adult who is a natural caregiver. I love being outdoors, reading and the Red Sox! Why I love dog sitting I don't remember a time when I was not a dog lover! Growing up we had a sweet, sweet lab. Since then my brother's dog lived with us for several months. Actually, all of my brothers have dogs and I have cared for them for the past few years. Meet my pets 2 cats About my yard pretty large for the area and fenced in.

I felt very confident leaving Walter with Heather and her family. It was so nice of them to take him in over the holidays. And she sent me pictures while we were away to reassure me that he was doing OK. Great pet provider!!

No breed preferences. I never feed dogs anything other than the food they come with unless you specifically tell me it is OK. If you have 2 dogs, I can take both, but will have to change my calendar, so just let me know before you book.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks around the neighborhood. Most likely to the arboretum as well. Your dog's sleeping arrangement generally, my 12 year-old son likes to have the dogs sleep in his room. they are welcome on his bed if they want. Time I'll spend with your dog I work locally until mid-afternoon. This allows me to be here earlier than the typical 9-5'er, and if necessary, make a run home at lunch time.
