Hi, I’m Heather. My professional experience with dogs started around age 13 when I began pet sitting in my neighborhood. I would watch my neighbors’ three cats every time they went on vacation and looked after four Yorkies for another neighbor when she traveled. I also used to volunteer at an animal hospital where I played with dogs and cats. For the past two years, I’ve been pet sitting again for friends and family. My personal experience with canines began when I was seven years old when I got Daisy, my first dog. She was a Yorkie, and I spent lots of time with her. I took her to obedience school and on walks, and we played together in the backyard. Later on, my family got two more Yorkies. I currently live with 2 little Yorkies. I also adore cats! I looked after a friend’s cat a few years ago and fell in love. Shortly after, I adopted my own from a shelter. I also fostered two kittens in the past, and my previous roommate had three cats and a dog. I guess you could say I’m used to being around lots of animals! My home has a huge backyard with a lot of grass for pups to run around and play on. The yard is secure, so my furry guests aren’t able to escape. My community is very safe and quiet with plenty of sidewalks to walk on. I’m currently going to school online, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available during the day for walks and check-ins.
