Heather was very flexible and responsive when we reached out. We sent our 2 dogs for 5 days. My greatest disappointment was never having the opportunity to meet Heather at either the drop off or pick up. Her lovely daughter was there for the drop off and pick up. It was a bit unsettling not meet her as it was our first time. It was never disclosed on either end of the booking that she would not be present to meet, which was ok but wish it was proactively communicated. We were very surprised to learn from the daughter that there was no dog run which is not what was presented in the posting. Had we known there was no dog run we likely would have opted for a different location where the dogs could enjoy the outdoors beyond a periodic walk. Potential boarders I would inquire as to the number of dogs present. We were surprised at arrival to learn from her daughter that there were 10 dogs. We were informed the energetic dogs would be kept in the kitchen and laid back dogs in the living room. My sense is it’s a lively household and pretty laid back, which may be a great fit for some. In hindsight I should have inquired a bit more to ascertain whether it was the right fit for us. Based on the other very positive reviews, my sense is Heathers place is a great fit for some but just was not exactly what we were looking for.

They absolutely love my puppy and treat him like family just like I do. I feel great knowing my baby is well taken care of while I am traveling. Thank you for loving my baby too!
