Pet care experience
I've had dogs and grown up with dogs since my entire life. I've had dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to German Shepherds. I currently have 3 of my own dogs ages 18 months to 7 years old and I have experience with puppies up to seniors. Also through my personal experiences, I am not a dog trainer but have been through many dog training classes for my own dogs and I also have experience with reactive dogs and know how to handle in various situations and places/people/dogs to avoid. In my past, I've owned a variety of other pets from cats, reptiles, birds and more and have much experience caring for all creatures! I fully understand each pet has their own personality and needs and I'm capable for accommodating their needs. :) I shall treat your pets as if they were my own!

Heather and Ryan took great care of my girls. I was traveling with others that have dogs. In comparing our “sitters”, I did not have to worry about when Ryan or Heather would be there to be with the dogs, unlike my friends who had sitters that didn’t stop by for many many hours in between. Very lucky to have these two, look forward to their next stay.
Heather was an excellent pet sitter. My 2 dogs & 2 cats were happy & well taken care of while we were away. Will definitely book with her again.
Heather & her husband were great! They were super communicative, sent great updates and followed all of the notes we left out for our pups. Would definitely recommend for house sitting ?

My pets are my family and my personal pets have full range in my home! I have a large fenced yard, a walking trail around the block and a small park nearby. My dogs get a daily walk from 30min up to 1.5 hours. I love to explore new parks and trails with my own dogs and would love to do the same with yours. I understand how I care for my pets may not be the same for everyone and I am completely respectful of the boundaries you may set. For one, my parents do not allow their dog on their furniture which my dogs comply with when we visit there! I want to respect the way you care for your pets and the boundaries you set and I will follow all care instructions you provide. I have utilized rover myself for finding sitters for my own dogs and I want to provide the best experience for you as others have provided for me!

It’s important to me to know your dogs daily routine so I may stick to it. How many times a day they eat, any supplements and medications, when they wake/sleep, when they get exercise and more. Also any behaviors, house behaviors, walking behaviors, behavior around strangers, other dogs and more!
A typical day
My favorite activities to do with dogs are go for walks and check out nature trails and parks. I also run and for those high-energy dogs, happy to take for a jog! I love mentally stimulating games such as wrapping treats/food in towels, lick mats and more!

Availability
I have a fairly flexible schedule where I work from home most days of the week and have most weekend availability. There are a couple days during the week I may have to work in office though I am only 20 minutes away! Per your needs, I can arrange my work schedule to accommodate your needs. :)
