Hi, I'm Heather! I've had dogs my entire life, from pups to senior care. I've also cared for friends' and family's pets along the way too. For me, it’s their stay, their way! They lead me on their walks, so I allow them to safely do what they want, within reason of course. I have no breed restrictions and would love to care for your best friend.

Heather is absolutely amazing and took such wonderful care of our dog Loki! Each day she took him on walks and adventures, played with him, gave him rest time, and sent us photos of all of it. Loki absolutely loves her, and by the third day of day care he was so excited when we turned down the road to her house! We had Heather look after Loki while we were staying at Suncadia and she was incredibly flexible with our schedule and great to communicate with. I can’t recommend Heather enough, whether you’re local to the area or visiting as we were! We’ll definitely bring Loki back to Heather next time we come to Suncadia.
Heather took great care of our two Aussies for a week this summer. The dogs had a great time on her large property and got some supervised time in the river. We received daily updates and pictures of our very happy (and tired) dogs. We absolutely recommend her!
We had a fantastic experience with Heather! She took extra care with our anxiety-prone dog, Rowan. She sent us lots of pictures and it was clear that Rowan enjoyed every minute of her time.

We live on five acres off the Yakima river. We are not fully fenced in, but there is plenty of room and nature to walk and play (on a leash, of course). While I don't currently have a dog of my own at the moment, he passed in 2020; our neighbor's dog Hannah likes to check in and say hi.

A typical day
We play ball in the house! Sometimes ball hide and seek. We have acres of smells and some great secluded walking areas to get outside and investigate. We get in some good snuggle time as well.

My time is yours; I am currently retired, which opens me up to be there for your pet's unique needs. I will match their schedule and give them my undivided attention. If there is something specific your dog requires, let me know, we can always discuss options to make this the best experience for them as possible.
