Hey my name is Heather. I am local to Athens and a native. I have three dogs and three cats that bring me all the joy in my own home and I just really love animals. I like meeting, playing, and petting all the animals and I would love the opportunity to help you out and spend some time with and care for your pet when you are away. I am open to sitting for dogs and cats on most days as well as just doing drop ins and taking long walks with your pups any day of the week. Heather was fantastic and I will definitely book her again for house sitting. She quickly responded for a holiday stay after another sitter canceled last minute and was wonderful in every interaction. She sent daily updates, followed all instructions, and exceeded expectations in caring for both my dog and my home. I came home to find multiple things cleaner or in better shape than when I left and felt very comfortable about my dog’s wellbeing over the whole trip.
Heather is a pet owner herself and clearly you can tell how good someone will be with other pets when you observe them taking care of their own pets. She had a cat and dog have surgery and her care was no less equal than that of a parent to a child. She also has experience in taking care of a somewhat cranky pet when the owners were away or had to leave him alone in family emergency situations. I know Heather would be wonderful taking care of others fur babies.
