Pet care experience
I have been a loving pet owner for 17 years and have professionally walked and sat for pets for the past five years. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and been employed at a cat boarding facility. I have experience with both puppies and elderly pets, and I provide a gentle and fun environment for your best friend!

Hattie has cared for our 3 dogs for quite a while now. She is simply amazing! Big dogs or small, young or old, she manages to work well with them all. I've seen my bullmastiff go into cross-eyed ecstasy when Hattie gave her some sort of Reiki massage...amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to leave our dogs with her...again.

I want to make this experience as pleasant for the dogs as possible. I engage in the activities they seem to enjoy, and interact with them at levels they are comfortable with. I am a very nurturing caregiver and will make sure all of their needs (and wants!) are attended to. While I cannot care for pets at my own home, I am an attentive, gentle, and fun at your residence and on walks. I have a clean record and always take care to secure your residence upon my departure.

I would like to know what kinds of things might trigger them, as well as what triggered behavior looks like for them, so that I can make tour time together as safe and pleasant for them as possible. I’d also appreciate knowing of any “bad” habits they have such as picking things up off of the ground so that I can be on the lookout for it!
A typical day
I love to walk and hike with dogs, play with them, and give them lots of pats! I match their energy levels and am very gentle with shy dogs. I like taking them outside of the hustle and bustle of the city so they have space to explore and sniff around.

I am available to take care of pets regularly on weekdays from the late morning through early evening, and can do one-time sitting and walking jobs on weekends with notice!
