Reviews
We couldn’t have wished a better pet sitter for our two dogs! Heather is so sweet and qualified. She made sure to entertain the dogs and give them a lot of love. She sent us updates all day long - which we really appreciated! The did some amazing training with our biggest dog that have some behavioural issues. I would recommend Heather to anyone! Thanks again for your amazing care!
Upon meeting Heather, you'll notice at once her deeply rooted compassion for her fellow humans. This translates seamlessly into her interactions with our fur-clad loved ones. She is energetic and engaging with her own canine companions and attentive and patient with others. Obedience training has become a staple in her day to day encounters with the dogs she cares for and you can expect a professional and gentle approach with your own adorable pooch. I have personally witnessed, on numerous occasions, her competence and confidence in the handling of dogs and cats alike. Heather is someone you can certainly trust with your furry best friend, but you can also expect a level of personal attention and care that can be rare to find amongst other dog-sitters. She is fun, dynamic and very much a responsible individual in her role as a temporary care-giver. You will not be disappointed!
Heather was amazing right from the beginning. She took the time to meet with us beforehand to answer all our questions and to meet Bigsby. During Bigsby’s stay at her place, we got regular updates and pictures. Bigsby had an amazing time and was sad when it was time to come home. We highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her to take care of our pup in the future.

Information Heather A. would like to know about your pet
- Any allergies?, behavioral issues?, that would prevent your puppy from having the best time. - If your dog has had their rabies and kennel cough vaccination? - I’m comfortable with both big and small breeds as my experience working in kennels involved working closely with all breeds. I have a sweet spot for Daschsounds. - I ask every client to fill out a confidential questionnaire upon booking request in order to ensure total satisfaction and safety for every pup in my care.(Including areas such as routines, feeding, walking schedule, crate training, emergency procedures, interaction with people, dogs etc)
A typical day
A typical day in my care looks like this: Each morning starts with feeding time & potty breaks in my fenced in backyard the size of a small field (see photos in profile). Following the potty breaks we take some time to run around, play fetch/ catch or tag until the pups are tired out and ready for some 1 on 1 puppy puzzels and playtime with my dog Charlie (if comfortable) Each day includes at least 1 hour of active outside walks and/park/dog park visits. - Every activity is modified depending on size, breed and age of the dog in my care. This is all on top of bathroom trips every 2 hours for bathroom breaks. No matter the day, breed or activity each stay is always filled with fun, love and treats!
