Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life. From the responsibility of family pets, to walking dogs for family friends and neighbors when I was 8 years old. As an adult I have rescued senior dogs, I have a soft spot for them. I also have experience with bully breeds and absolutely love them. I love dogs of all breeds and I can’t wait to meet yours.

Heather took care of our cat for a week while we were out of town. It is so nice to be able to be out of town and know your pets are in good hands and will be well cared for. Our kitty is somewhat skiddish and cautious with new people, but he warmed right up to Heather. We appreciated the updates and photos and great communication. She has also taken care of our dog and we will have her back again. Highly recommend!
Heather came over to meet our dog and they were immediate friends. When she came over to take care of our dog when we were away, she sent photos and gave an update on how things went. She is very prompt with communication and we felt very comfortable having her care for our pets. We look forward to having her back!

This was my first time using Rover and Heather was AMAZING!! She kept me updated on how my animals were doing and put all my worries at ease. She was great with my all my pets including my “problem child”! It was so easy having her come to my home so the pets did not have to leave the comfort of their home. I will definitely recommend Heather and will request her to care for my pets again.

I would prefer to care for your pet in their own environment as I know when you are gone it is stressful enough for them. I do not currently have any pets of my own so if necessary I can watch your pet in my home. I do live in an apartment complex with other dogs present.

Please let me know if you pet has certain likes or dislikes, if they take any medications or need frequent bathroom breaks. Please also let me know their preferences about other dogs so that I can plan accordingly for outdoor and neighborhood activities. Any behaviors or special needs they might have. I love all dogs but there is a special place in my heart for senior dogs and bully breeds.
A typical day
Weather permitting I will spend quite a bit of time outside with your pet. I love to go for walks around the neighborhood, go to the dog run on the beach, go to the dog park, go hiking. I also will just give you pup snuggles and light play at home if that is what they prefer or need.

Availability
I currently go to school part time, it is all computer based and self paced so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies while you’re away. Available during the week and weekends. Available for holidays with enough notice. I live near the lake and love to go for walks.
