I am a loving, caring dog sitter!
Pet care experience
I have years of professional experience with taking care of dogs and cats. I do it because I love it. I love spending my time with animals, and giving them the special care that they need. I also have many years of experience owning dogs. I currently have 2 of my own, and have had dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and ducks my whole life. I work at a vet clinic, and I dog sit on the side. I am CPR certified and Fear Free Certified as well. I can administer medications orally, and give insulin. I've always loved taking care of animals, and wouldn't want to do anything else. I hope that if given then chance, I can provide you with outstanding service, and see to all of your needs for your furry little friend. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Reviews
Heather is absolutely amazing with my pup. He is older and a little bit more anxious than most and she is very accommodating and takes care of him better than any other walker/ sitter I have ever had. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new walker or sitter!
Heather is one of the most trustworthy dog people I know. She has years of experience in the industry whether it be boarding, vet, dog walking, etc. she has also grown up with dogs in her home as well as she has two herself. She treats every single dog as if they were their own. She goes out her way to make sure dogs are well cared for, comfortable, and are enjoying themselves. Heather is open and honest with all clients which is sadly not something you always get with certain businesses.
Heather is so good with animals of all kinds! She loves any dog like they are her own. You will be assured that your animal is in good hands with her!
Last fourth of July my husband lost his mom, and we needed to go up to Washington state for a week. I have two pitts and a 20 year old black lab, all living in a RV while our house was being built. Heather was a trooper, she came over several times before she was scheduled to watch the dogs to play and get to know there routine. Heather stayed with them and sent pictures and updates daily, my dogs absolutely loved her and I would definitely highly recommend her. If she can handle a week in a RV with a 143lb 3yr old Male pitt, a 55 lbs 4yr pitt, and a 21 yrs old black lab...she can handle anything.

Information Heather A. would like to know about your pet
There are a few things that I like to know about pets beforehand, to ensure I provide the best care. Do they have any allergies? How are they on leash? How are they with other animals of any kind? Are there any treats/toys that they aren't allowed to have? Do they have any medical conditions that I should note? There are many other questions that I'll have, but these are a few of the basics.
A typical day
When I host dogs at my house, I take them on walks around the neighborhood (appropriate length for their size, and weather). I also have a dog park at my apartment complex, and have supervised many group plays at previous jobs, so if your dog gets along with others, I can take them there to run off some energy. If they don't get along with other dogs, we can find a time where nobody else is there, and play some fetch, or whatever your pup has in mind! If it's not a great day for the outdoors, I have treat puzzles, toys, and peanut butter Kongs to keep their mind going! Puzzle toys are always great for enrichment!
