Pet care experience
Accepting new clients! I grew up on a farm in Nashville, IN and have cared for a little bit of everything over the years. I discovered my love of animals at a young age. I have 2 three legged cats, 2 full size cats, and two 50-60ish lb dogs. I keep 14 freshwater aquariums and have experience with some reptiles, birds, and other caged critters like ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs. Also open to farm sitting and any other unique pet you keep, message me to discuss details!

Heather is great with our cats. We have one that is very shy, but need medication daily. Heather goes out of her way to make sure she gets her meds. We know when we're gone, they're in good hands.
Heather is great with our cats! We have a shy one that rarely comes out when people are around, but she came out to meet Heather the first day. Heather gave her her medicine and sent us photos of her visit. We really appreciate her caring for our cats. Thank you Heather!
Heather braved the cold and snow to take great care of our kitties. She is awesome and does a fantastic job communicating. Always a pleasure!
Heather is awesome! She did drop in visits for our cat while we were out town for about 5 days. She sent like 4-6 pictures each visit and gave regular updates. She was also super good about scheduling and communication when we had to book her - admittedly fairly last minute. 10 stars for Heather!

I am happy to follow any routine or instructions you wish, even if you need me to pretend to microwave your dogs food or make it fancy in whatever way you have found works! Pets can become stressed when their humans are away and I'm happy to mitigate that with any routine necessary. Our home has many stairs and may not be suitable for senior pets who desire to be with people overnight.

Please let me know if your dog has any triggers/ obsessive behaviors. For example, my dog went crazy any time the Roomba turned on. I also recently met a dog who would destroy any yard sign in sight. Always nice to have heads up on those things before we're exposed to them so we can help keep your pet safe :)
A typical day
My home is surrounded by woods and sits on about 5 acres. I often hike with my doggos in favorable weather. We also spend lots of time on the deck, or visit the lake or nearby creek.

Availability
I generally have more availability Friday-Sunday as Mon-Thurs are normally filled with repeat clients. I am not currently accepting daycare requests. I normally hike with my pups when weather is favorable!
