Pet care experience
I've loved animals my whole life, I've grown up around them and have always felt a special connection to them. I currently have one cat, Camera, and I hope to have more pets in the future! My family had a dachshund for 13 years who I helped take care of for a lot of her life, during part of which she was fully blind. I began walking dogs and pet sitting as a teenager, and have continued to do so often into my adulthood, which helped me learn a lot and gain experience so I can take even better care of your furry loved ones! I love going on walks and being in nature, which in my opinion are even better with an animal companions. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!!

Hazel is upbeat and responsible. Our dog responded well to her for 6 days straight with a few breaks for Hazel to go back out into the world.
Hazel was fantastic, our large rambunctious loving dogs absolutely adored her! She sent us updates and pictures throughout her stay at our home. Would definitely book her again :)

Hazel has been such a lovely pet sitter!! She spent so much time with them and our dog, Mimi, has been overjoyed to have someone walk her and just really enjoyed Hazel's presence. Hazel also did a great job of working with Mimi's diet. We really appreciate the service that she provided as well as the care she had given them all. :)

I always make sure to ask lots of questions before staying with your pets, to ensure I know all the details of how to best care for them specifically. When I am staying at a client's home it's also extremely important to me to take very good care of the space and things I am using, and leave the house cleaner than I found it! I live with three pets (my one cat, and my roommate's cat and dog) so unless your pet would love to be around others, it's probably best for me to just stay with them at your home.

When and how much they need to be fed, let out, and walked; whether they need any medication or special care; whether or not they need to be leashed at all times, or if they'll try to bolt out the door at any chance; if they like being around other dogs/cats or not; if there are specific commands I need to use for them; if they can ride in a car happily or not, etc.
A typical day
As I mentioned, I love walking around outside so I could bring your pets to nearby parks/dog parks to walk and play! Also as I said, my roommate has one very sweet dog so if yours is social we could have doggy play dates!

Availability
I am currently transitioning workplaces, I'm working full time until May 18th at my current job that I'm leaving. I'm looking for either part time or full time work, so I am best suited for pets that can be left alone for longer periods of time. But all of the rest of the time I'm not working will be spent with your pets!
